PARTICIPANT WAIVER, RELEASE, AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
As a participant in the role of Crew Member (including but not limited to Referee, Host, Commentator, Ring Card Girl, or other event staff), I acknowledge and understand that while I am not personally wrestling or fighting, my involvement in this event carries inherent risks. These risks include, but are not limited to:
Slips, trips, or falls while on or around the stage, ring, or event area
Strains, sprains, or musculoskeletal injuries from movement, lifting, or extended standing
Exposure to bright lights, loud music, or sudden crowd noise that may cause dizziness, headache, or sensory distress
Physical contact with participants, props, or equipment during the course of the event
Medical emergencies such as fainting, dehydration, seizure, anxiety/panic attack, heart attack, stroke, or other conditions triggered by high energy, stress, or physical exertion
Risk of incidental injury due to proximity to wrestling or fighting activity
I voluntarily assume all such risks, whether known or unknown, associated with my participation as a Crew Member at this event.
Voluntary & Unpaid Role Acknowledgment
I understand and agree that my role as a Crew Member is strictly voluntary and unpaid. I will not receive wages, salaries, benefits, or other compensation for my participation. Any travel, lodging, meals, or related expenses incurred in connection with my participation, including traveling to and from league venue locations, are my sole responsibility and will not be reimbursed by Gyte Ryte Entertainment LLC or its affiliates.
By signing this form, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Gyte Ryte Entertainment LLC, its owners, officers, employees, representatives, affiliates, volunteers, sponsors, medical staff, and event organizers (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to any injury, illness, medical condition, loss, or damage that I may sustain while participating in, attending, or traveling to/from this event, whether caused by negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
I affirm that I am in good health, capable of fulfilling my role, and have no known medical condition that would prevent or limit safe participation. I am solely responsible for consulting with a physician regarding my ability to participate. I further acknowledge that no guarantee of medical treatment is provided, and that I am solely responsible for any medical expenses incurred.
I grant Gyte Ryte Entertainment LLC and its authorized representatives full and unrestricted rights to use my name, image, likeness, voice, and any photographs or video recordings taken of me during the event, for promotional, advertising, broadcasting, or marketing purposes in any media, worldwide and in perpetuity, without compensation.
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any liability, claims, damages, or expenses brought by third parties arising from my actions, conduct, or participation in this event.
