PARTICIPANT WAIVER, RELEASE, AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I acknowledge and fully understand that fist-fighting is an extreme, high-risk combat sport that carries inherent and significant dangers. These risks include, but are not limited to:

• Cuts, bruises, lacerations, and other superficial injuries

• Fractures, broken bones, dislocations, sprains, and ligament/tendon tears

• Concussions, traumatic brain injury (TBI), neurological damage, and long-term cognitive impairment

• Serious medical emergencies including aneurysm, stroke, seizure, cardiac arrest, fainting, or heart attack triggered by exertion or impact

• Internal injuries, organ damage, paralysis, permanent disability, or death

I voluntarily assume all such risks, whether known or unknown, associated with my participation in the Gyte Ryte Cat Fight Championship.

I agree to abide by the rules of GRCFC and that biting, scratching, shoving, slapping, etc., will not be tolerated. GRCFC is a fist-fighting league, where only punching and elbow strikes are allowed.

Voluntary & Unpaid Role Acknowledgment

I understand and agree that my role as a Crew Member is strictly voluntary and unpaid. I will not receive wages, salaries, benefits, or other compensation for my participation. Any travel, lodging, meals, or related expenses incurred in connection with my participation, including traveling to and from league venue locations, are my sole responsibility and will not be reimbursed by Gyte Ryte Entertainment LLC or its affiliates.

By signing this form, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Gyte Ryte Entertainment LLC, its owners, officers, employees, representatives, affiliates, volunteers, sponsors, medical staff, and event organizers (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to any injury, loss, or damage that I may sustain while participating in, attending, or traveling to/from this event, whether caused by negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

I affirm that I am in good physical condition, have no known medical condition that would prevent or limit safe participation, and that I am solely responsible for consulting with a physician regarding my ability to compete. I agree to immediately inform the organizers if I experience any discomfort or injury during the event. I further acknowledge that no guarantee of medical treatment is provided, and that I am solely responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

I grant Gyte Ryte Entertainment LLC and its authorized representatives full and unrestricted rights to use my name, image, likeness, voice, and any photographs or video recordings taken of me during the event, for promotional, advertising, broadcasting, or marketing purposes in any media, worldwide and in perpetuity, without compensation.

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any liability, claims, damages, or expenses brought by third parties arising from my actions, conduct, or participation in this event.

MANDATORY ASSUMPTION OF RISK ACKNOWLEDGMENT

I UNDERSTAND THAT FIST-FIGHTING IS A DANGEROUS AND EXTREMELY PHYSICALLY DEMANDING SPORT THAT INVOLVES SERIOUS RISKS OF INJURY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FRACTURES, CONCUSSIONS, NEUROLOGICAL DAMAGE, ANEURYSM, STROKE, HEART ATTACK, OR EVEN DEATH. I FREELY ACCEPT AND FULLY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, WHETHER KNOWN OR UNKNOWN, AND I AM PARTICIPATING VOLUNTARILY AND OF MY OWN FREE WILL.

No Refund / No Recourse Policy

I understand and agree that all registration fees, payments, or other financial commitments made in connection with this event are non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to withdrawal, injury, disqualification, event cancellation, or postponement. I waive any right to seek chargebacks, refunds, or compensation against Gyte Ryte Entertainment LLC and the Released Parties.

Governing Law and Venue

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute, claim, or legal action arising out of or relating to this event or this waiver shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Polk County, Florida, and I expressly consent to the jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

Severability

If any provision of this waiver is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
